Paces Sheffield is a specialist centre and Charity for children and young adults with Cerebral Palsy. We deliver Conductive Education: a holistic package that aims to help individuals obtain the greatest level of independence through a range of supportive measures.
Paces Sheffield meets the physical and cognitive needs of individuals, which are often not met elsewhere.
Paces Sheffield was established in 1995; the organisation was born out of the experiences of parenting children with physical disabilities and their related learning difficulties.
Parents, staff, Trustees and Governors have overseen the growth of Paces as a Charity, with the school gaining Non-Maintained Special School status in 2009. Paces School (rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2013 and 2018) currently has 34 children from ages 3-16 and in our Adult Services we have six members.
Adult Services also provides condition specific support for adults with Parkinson’s, Stroke and MS. Our Outreach team supports at least 20 families each year.
Paces Sheffield is a model of specialist educational provision based within an inclusive family and community neighbourhood centre.
